内容記述2 | The present study was conducted in order to clarify the features of factors influencing self-management of hemodialysis patients and determine the relationships among the factors. A total of 50 people (40 males, 10 females, age range: 23-75 years), who were regularly visiting a hospital in Yamanashi prefecture for hemodialysis. Participants completed the Social Support in Chronic Disease Patients Scale (SSCDPS), the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), the Dietary Management Self-efficacy Scale (DMSES) and the Japanese version of the Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire (DEBQ). Blood data for K, P, and BUN were collected before and after dialysis. Furthermore, the rate of weight increase was calculated for hemodialysis patients. For data analysis, a correlation analysis was conducted. The data analysis identified correlations among self-efficacy, social support, and the rate of weight increase. Furthermore, regarding eating behavior, emotional eating and external eating ・were not observed frequently, "while restrained eating was observed frequently. In conclusion, in addition to understanding the eating behavior of patients, it is important to consider the available support systems, specifically the individuals who help the patient improve his or her self-efficacy through nursing care. |
