What they “find difficult” upon having the computer systems, are trouble shooting, computer operation, understanding of overall system function, security management, etc. For “the areas of work where the computer covers or is going to cover”, many answered as medicine, prescription, and pharmacy. Regarding “establishing special committee or project team for computerized nursing”, only a half has set up those organizations, and it was less than 50% who listed subjects such as information ethics, protection of privacy, security management of computers as for preparation or training necessary for introduction the systems. About 30% people have been enrolled in “seminars and training on the information science or introducting computers to nursing”.It is considered essential in the near future to have a type of study for such computerizing. |
